In the hadith narrated by Muslim from Abu Harairah mentioned ra that the Prophet said, "There was this guy was in an arid area, then he heard a voice in the clouds, 'So and so Siramilah the garden." Cloud came and rain water in the shower where the water (dam). Only one trench that can accommodate all of the water, then water was flowing into a field.

In the field there was a man who was pouring water with a hoe.

Said the man (the first), 'O servant of God, who is your name? "

He replied, 'So and so, why do you ask my name? "

He replied, 'I heard a voice in the cloud that this water flow, said:' So and so Siramilah the field, 'just like yours. What you do on this farm? "

He replied, 'If it is true what you say, actually I use the results of this field, I sedekahkan third, third I eat with my family and I return the third longer again to the fields (for the cost of plants). "

The story has taught us that the charity would be reciprocated out in the world though, so we should treat it fairly alms from what is our business. Charity means charity to the poor, people in need, etc. (based on love for fellow human beings). There are also those among us who call it a shodaqoh charity. In the book of at-Ta'rifat: 132 works of Al-Jarjaniy, each shodaqoh is issued (done) by someone with the hope of getting the pleasure of Allah SWT, it is shodaqoh for him.

The Prophet said, "Every good it is charity / shodaqoh." (Narrated by Imam Muslim). Here the charity's obvious not only that of property, but the charity can be a science, skill, strength, power, devotion, and also for someone who is not potential, it is sufficient with a smile when bermuamalah with fellow human beings.

In another hadith, narrated by Bukhori from Abu Musa Al-Asya'ary, explained: "For each shodaqoh Muslims there. The Companions asked: 'If he does not have anything?' Apostle replied: 'He worked with his hands, then bring benefits for himself, then he's been bershodaqoh. "Companions asked:' If he is not able or not doing? 'The Prophet said:' Let ditolongnya demand people who need help. "Companions asked: 'If you did not do?" The Prophet said:' He had done good or mar'uf. 'Ask another friend:' If not done? 'He refrained from evil. That is shodaqoh him. "

In this case, Islam is not only invites the Muslims to give alms, and did not solely explain the benefits or rewards, a double, but also warned not to waste the call. Do not wait until there comes a time where there is no chance to spend their wealth (in charity), for the coming period of hardship.

Thus, once again do not delay good for charity. Because people who do charity it, so many virtues. God says in the Qur'an that charity virtues, among them: charity care virtues (Surah Ali Imran: 92); charity invites love of God (Surah Ali Imran: 133); charity will reciprocate (Surat al-Baqara: 274); charity double fortune (Surat al-Baqara: 261); alms to bring forgiveness of Allah (Surah Ath Thagabun: 17); charity enlarges life (Surah Ad Dahr: 8-11). And Allaah knows best .***
